Scoil ide, Curranes National School was successfiil in securing funding under 'Summer Works 2010' to complete a 'Replacement of Windows' Building Project at the school and Evans and Kelliher Construction Limited were one of the construction companies who tendered for the work.

They were successful in the tender process. Our 'Replacement of Windows' project also involved the building up of much of the wall area and insulating to a very high standard, etc., as the rooms being refurbished were 1960's built (similar 10 Prefab but with wall-to-wall glass). Following on the success of this project, we also secured funding for the addition of `Velux Roof Windows' (job completed during a weekend in September) and the building of an additional Resource Room (job completed during Halloween Mid-term break).

All projects were completed by Evans and Kelliher Construction Limited. The Board of Management of Scull ide, Curranes was very clear about the time frame and the .costing, as dictated by the Dept. Education and Science. Evans and Kelliher Construction Limited completed all projects on time and within budget. The appearance of the workmanship is excellent and the builders on site were very accommodating and kept a very clean and tidy site. This was vital to us as we had personnel accessing the building during the construction phase. Minimum disruption was caused. In our experience Evans and Kelliher Construction Ltd were extremely professional with a very thorough approach. They worked in an open communication manner and always returned phone calls promptly. All decisions were made in consultation with Department of Education and Science Building Unit, our Project Manager for the building works and Evans and Kelliher Construction Ltd.

As principal of Sc,oil ide, Curranes, I never encountered any difficulty in working with Evans and Kelliher Construction Ltd. and any request, question, suggestion or query I had at any stage was addressed immediately.
